Stader aims to be the distribution layer of staking while building protocols and products which enhance the security, decentralization, liquidity, governance of some of the major DPoS blockchain networks like Ethereum, Polygon and Solana.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to provide legal support on various aspects of our business. The successful candidate will be involved in contract drafting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property matters, and other legal matters that arise within the crypto and blockchain industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Contract Drafting & Review: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, including partnership agreements, licensing agreements, service agreements, and other legal documents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal frameworks (both domestic and international), particularly in the cryptocurrency and DeFi sectors.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research on emerging issues in blockchain technology, digital assets, and DeFi regulations.
• Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance activities, including drafting board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and advising on governance issues.
• Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Assist with dispute resolution matters, including liaising with external counsel and supporting litigation processes.
• Intellectual Property: Assist in managing intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights related to our products and technologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (including compliance, product, and business teams) to ensure legal and regulatory alignment across the company.
• Policy Advocacy: Stay up to date on developments in blockchain law and advocate for legal positions that support the company’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
• Education: A law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on corporate law, contract law, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the technology or blockchain industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and emerging legal challenges in the crypto space is a plus.
Skills:
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to the blockchain industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
