We are looking for a dedicated Legal Compliance Executive to ensure that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines. The successful candidate will review legal guidelines, provide expert advice, and ensure the company adheres to statutory and legal regulations. This role involves monitoring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies to reduce the risk of legal conflicts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organization.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with legal standards and internal processes.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advise management and employees on legal matters, risks, and compliance issues.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the company in legal and compliance matters as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
- Ensure the company’s adherence to corporate governance principles, labor laws, and statutory obligations.
- Handle company secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory registers and filings.
- Stay updated with current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect the organization’s operations.
- Manage licenses, permits, registrations, and other legal documentation to ensure the organization’s legal standing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or any related field. A master’s degree or professional certification in compliance or corporate law will be a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a legal compliance role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory laws.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, legal documentation, and regulatory affairs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
