Job Description: Legal & Compliance Professional
Experience: 5 Years to 7 Years
Position Overview:
The person will be responsible for ensuring that Hexaware adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures, and guidelines. They will work closely with various departments to assess, develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to mitigate risk and ensure legal and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
• Aid in drafting, analysing, reviewing of contracts, vendor documentation, standard terms and conditions, service level agreements, licences, and other legal documents.
• Identify and monitor compliance issues that require follow up or investigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address compliance issues and develop solutions.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations, assess their impact on the organization, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Conduct Third party Due Diligence
• Conduct regular audits and transaction testing to assess compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
• Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to management.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in law or CA with at least 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in one of the Big four consulting organization.
• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
• Sound knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using compliance management software and tools.
