Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel
We are currently seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our Legal team at our Perth Head Office in a full-time capacity.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide professional and prompt advice on all legal matters and guidance to the business on a range of corporate and commercial matters including:
Mergers and acquisitions
Corporate governance
Commercial contract reviews and negotiations
Financial products and services
Leasing
Franchising
Additionally, you will assist the Senior Legal Counsel in dealing with litigation and disputes where necessary, work closely with senior leaders on strategic transactions for domestic and international operations, and build and maintain relationships across the business in support of the legal department's interaction with other business units.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent degree
A current Australian Practising Certificate
6+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house role
Experience and proficiency in corporate and general commercial law (advantageous)
