We're seeking an experienced lawyer to support our high-quality and commercially focused legal operations, delivering progressive growth and innovation as part of our vision to become The Trusted Australian Gold Miner.
The Role
Focus on delivering high-quality legal support without time-consuming tasks or billable targets.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gain insights into the business and the gold mining industry.
You will advise across various areas, including project development, corporate/M&A, mining law, procurement, finance, native title, environmental law, employment/work health and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist in discharging corporate governance and regulatory compliance obligations.
Advise on the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
Ensure policies and procedures remain fit for purpose.
Alongside the Head Of Legal & Company Secretary, you will build a high-performing legal function that supports the company's commercial objectives, including proactive monitoring of new legal developments, identifying risks, and implementing controls.

Requirements
2-5 years of experience gained at a well-regarded law firm (in-house experience desirable but not essential).
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate and commercial, project development, procurement, finance, employment, work health and safety, environment, native title.
Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
Applicants must hold a current Australian practising certificate.
