Job Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate, on an independent basis, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Partnership Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Statements of Work, and other similar agreements across US, Canada, India, UK, and other geographies.
Utilise Quantiphis playbook, and other available tools and resources to implement the companys positions on frequently negotiated clauses.
Manage stakeholders such as internal business teams and senior management to document strategic partnerships, and collaborations with partners.
Work closely and collaborate with the delivery, sales, finance and HR teams etc. to ensure adequate protection of Quantiphis interests.
Prepare and/or respond to business and/or legal notices from customers, vendors etc.
Review RFPs, and provide support to M&A / due diligence activities.
Liaising with and supervising external counsel for outsourced legal matters, ensuring efficient and cost effective legal representation when required.
Collaborate and provide guidance to various internal teams on queries relating to contracting, client engagements, compliance related queries etc in non-legalese.
Initiate and lead independently, initiatives that can impact the larger legal team, and Quantiphi.
Able to prioritise, plan and organize work.
Provide well researched opinions to business stakeholders, and the Legal Head with regard to queries; using tools such as PracLaw, Manupatra, and Westlaw.
Job Requirements
2 to 4 years of experience drafting and independently negotiating agreements to closure, preferably with technology / IT MNCs; or a reputed law firm.
Prior experience working in a global organisation with a cross- cultural environment will be an added advantage.
Law Degree from a reputed and recognized university.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English language.
Clear understanding of basic legal concepts and willingness to learn / adapt new skills.
Collaborative approach, self-starter attitude, flexibility and high integrity with a demonstrated track record of building relationships across teams and time zones.
The ability to prioritize tasks, work in a fast- paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to do legal research and deep dive into matters.
