KGeN (Kratos Gamer Network) is building a multi-chain gamer network that aims to become
the home of global gamer data, owned by gamers. At the heart of it is the revolutionary Proof of
Gamer (P .O.G) Engine that allows gamers to build, own & monetise their reputation. This data
framework allows game publishers to engage with precise gamer cohorts, engaging in deep
value exchange through our product stack.
About the Role
This is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru. The Associate - Legal and Governance will be
responsible for drafting and negotiating business contracts, managing administrative and
compliance tasks, organizing board meetings, maintaining company records, and ensuring legal,
secretarial and regulatory requirements are met across a range of jurisdictions including India,
Singapore, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus among others.
You will work with a stellar team with impeccable professional experience across leading tech
and consumer giants like Google, Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group, AB InBev, Unilever,
Nazara Technology, Cisco, Star Network, etc. and educational pedigree across top global
institutions like The Wharton School, IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Bombay, University of Warwick,
National Law School of India among others.
Key Responsibilities
● Legal Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement legal frameworks, risk mitigation
strategies, and governance structures to support business expansion across multiple
jurisdictions.
● Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulatory filings, board
governance, and company secretarial functions.
● Contract Negotiations: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements,
investment contracts, partnerships, and licensing deals.
● Regulatory & Compliance Management: Oversee regulatory compliance across India,
Singapore, Brazil, BVI, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, and other key markets.
● Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal, regulatory, and reputational
risks, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with founders, investors, external legal counsels,
and regulatory authorities to safeguard the company’s interests.
● Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Manage legal disputes, arbitration, and liaise with
external counsels for litigation matters.
● IP Protection & Data Privacy: Ensure compliance with IP laws, trademarks, copyrights,
and data privacy regulations relevant to gaming and blockchain ecosystems.
Qualifications & Experience
LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
02-10 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, and governance, preferably in
tech, gaming, Web3, or fintech industries.
Expertise in corporate structuring, international regulatory compliance, and cross-border
transactions.
Strong experience in contract negotiation, M&A, and investment transactions.
Familiarity with data privacy laws (GDPR, IT Act, etc.) and intellectual property
protection.
Prior experience managing multi-jurisdictional legal functions is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
