Role & responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Review and draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Manage legal disputes and litigation.
• Provide legal training and guidance to employees. Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices.
• Prepare and file necessary corporate documents with regulatory authorities.
• Manage board meetings and shareholder meetings.
• Maintain corporate records and registers.
• Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including food safety, environmental, and labor laws.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to employees.
Requirements:
• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills..
