Position Overview:

The candidate will support all the legal matters of the Group, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and efficient handling of corporate legal documentation. This role involves drafting and vetting contracts, coordinating with external counsels, attending court proceedings, and maintaining accurate legal records.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Draft, review, and vet legal contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation for the Group. Ensure clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation in all contracts.
Legal Representation: Attend court proceedings and hearings on behalf of the company, ensuring effective legal representation and prompt action.
Filing and Documentation: Ensure timely filing of petitions, applications, and other legal documents. Maintain accurate and organized documentation and records of all legal matters.
Coordination with External Counsel: Serve as a liaison between the Group and external legal counsels. Facilitate communication and coordination for all ongoing legal matters.
Compliance Management: Assist with compliance monitoring and ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Advisory Support: Provide legal advice and guidance to the Group on various legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation strategy.

Qualifications:
A degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Prior experience in corporate legal, with a strong understanding of contract law, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
2-3 years experience in managing corporate legal matters for large organizations.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
Proven ability to work effectively with external counsels and regulatory bodies.,
