Full job descriptionThe Kryder Law Group is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Intake Specialist to join our personal injury team. This fast-paced, client-facing role is the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal guidance after an injury.
This position is ideal for pre-law students, recent graduates, those considering law school, or a career in law and want hands-on exposure to the legal field. You will learn how personal injury cases are evaluated, how key facts are identified, and how clients are guided through the early stages of the legal process.
No prior intake or personal injury experience is required. We provide training and mentorship to develop strong communication, fact-gathering, and client-service skills in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Intake & Case Assessment
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from prospective clients.
Conduct detailed intake interviews based on PI criteria (liability, damages, treatment, coverage, venue).
Ask targeted questions to assess case strength and ensure accurate fact development.
Use firm guidelines to determine whether the case meets requirements for representation.
Clearly communicate the firm’s value and guide qualified clients toward signing representation agreements.
Conversion & Follow-Through
Confidently explain next steps and set expectations for the onboarding process.
Follow up on warm leads, missed calls, and pending decisions to ensure no opportunity is lost.
Manage leads efficiently in CRM systems, keeping all notes, statuses, and follow-ups current.
Support the intake team’s performance goals through consistent communication and timely action.
Documentation & Administrative Tasks
Maintain detailed and accurate notes in Lead Docket, Smokeball, and related platforms.
Order police reports and collect essential documents from potential clients.
Coordinate attorney callbacks and facilitate smooth transitions for signed cases.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rates, response times, and call quality.
Client Experience
Deliver exceptional service with empathy, professionalism, and clarity.
Provide a sense of assurance and confidence to callers who may be distressed or uncertain.
Represent the firm’s standards and brand in every interaction.
Skills & Qualifications (Not Required)
1+ years of direct intake experience in a personal injury law firm (MVA, premises, etc.). (Preferred, not required)
Proven ability to convert qualified PI leads into signed cases. (Preferred, not required)
Strong knowledge of PI terminology, intake decision-making, and fact-pattern evaluation. (Preferred, not required)
Comfortable handling high call volume and working under performance metrics. (Preferred, not required)
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
Ability to navigate emotionally sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and follow-through habits.
Familiarity with intake and case management software (Lead Docket preferred, not required).
Preferred
Experience working in a structured intake department with KPIs and conversion standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt conversations based on caller needs.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
