Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Litigation Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in litigation, with a solid foundation in legal writing and case management. This role requires a motivated individual capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and revise legal documents, including pleadings, proposals, affidavits, court forms, and correspondence in Personal Injury and Civil files
Manage legal files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records
Prepare and compile productions for Personal Injury files, including medical records, accident benefit documents, and expert reports
Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner
File legal documents electronically or in person as required
Schedule court hearings, pre-trials, mediations, and other legal appointments
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, transcription, and proofreading
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
