Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Manager located in Chennai. The Legal Manager will be responsible for tasks such as legal document preparation, legal consulting, legal compliance, and managing legal affairs. They will ensure compliance with legal requirements and provide guidance on legal matters.

Qualifications
• 5+ yrs experience in working in in-house role
• Strong knowledge of law, including relevant Indian electricity legislation and regulations
• Experience in legal document preparation and reviewing contracts of various types
• Ability to provide legal consulting and guidance to stakeholders
• Experience in ensuring legal compliance and managing legal affairs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Previous experience in the power generation industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Professional certifications in law are beneficial
