Position: Legal Manager
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India
Salary: 25-27 LPA
The Senior Manager will lead the in-house legal function and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborating with business verticals and taking the lead in developing business contracts, maintaining compliances, and interpreting laws governing the company’s activities
• Providing legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders by anticipating and evaluating potential legal challenges
• Formulating legal strategies for the company to ensure its interest is effectively safeguarded and legal obligations are carried out effectively
• Liaising with external legal consultants to implement strategies and ensuring adequate monitoring
• Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to drive legal negotiations and dispute resolutions
• Drafting, reviewing and approving policies and procedures of the company
• Developing and managing annual legal budgets for the company and performing periodic cost and productivity analyses
• Creating awareness in the company of relevant laws and regulations
Required Qualifications
• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Law from a reputed university
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in legal roles with a minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience in the legal function of a corporate
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong legal document drafting skills
• Excellent English language skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to managing litigation
• Experience in healthcare, agriculture or industrial setups
• Knowledge of laws in South Asian and Middle Eastern countries
