Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team, focusing on non-litigation matters, specifically Franchise Agreements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating franchise agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and related contracts.
• Provide legal advice on franchise operations, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the franchise business model.
• Advise on regulatory and legal aspects of franchising, including disclosure obligations, intellectual property rights, and brand protection.
• Assist in structuring new franchise models and expansion strategies.
• Stay updated on legal developments in franchise law and related regulations.
• Handle any legal issues arising from franchise relationships in a proactive and efficient manner.
Qualifications
• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum of 3 - + years of experience in franchise law or commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of franchising regulations and business practices.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
