Our client is a well-respected and reputable government organization that are well known across NSW. They provide top-notch services across the state and are currently seeking a Legal Officer with previous experience with subpoenas to support their team in this exciting contract role for 3 months.
The successful candidate will have the benefits of working in a hybrid setting, both from their Sydney CBD office and WFH!
The Job
Reporting into the Manager, you will be responsible for:
Updating and maintaining records and databases to ensure all information and documentation is stored safely and is easily accessible.
Arranging and coordinating couriers and deliveries of documents to support the efficient operation of the business unit.
Ensuring that all subpoenas are properly documented and entered into the computer systems correctly.
Collating, maintaining and drafting reports, and providing a range of administrative and support services to the team.
Providing high customer service relating to subpoenas and requests for information.
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
Proven work experience with subpoenas is a must.
Have a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude to work to tight deadlines across multiple tasks.
Public sector experience will be highly regarded.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
