Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Legal Officer with a minimum of 2 - 6 years of relevant experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing the company in legal proceedings. The Legal Officer will work closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate, Collaborate & work closely with legal counsel representing our company for all legal proceedings that need to be handled at Chennai.
• Whenever required represent the company in legal proceedings.
• Review and advise on company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Law;
• Minimum of 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in litigation and dispute resolution is a plus.
• Membership in a recognized bar association.
