To manage the end-to-end legal operations of the company, focusing on the meticulous drafting of commercial agreements, maintaining organized legal documentation, and managing active litigation cases across various forums.ResponsibilitiesContract & Agreement Management (Vetting) Drafting & Vetting: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including Dealer/Distributor Agreements, Vendor Contracts, Lease Deeds, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Risk Assessment: Identify potential legal traps in contracts and suggest amendments to protect the company's interests.Standardization: Develop and maintain "Standard Templates" for recurring business transactions (especially important for the new Color Coated Sheet channel partners).Litigation & Dispute Resolution Case Tracking: Actively manage and monitor all ongoing litigation (civil, criminal, or labor-related).Liaison: Coordinate with external advocates and legal firms; brief them on cases andreview their drafts/submissions.Court Attendance: Attend court hearings or tribunal proceedings as the company representative when required.Notices: Draft and respond to legal notices, including Section 138 (Cheque Bounce) cases, which are common in dealer networks.Documentation & MIS Daily MIS Reporting: Maintain and update a daily Management Information System (MIS) tracking the status of all contracts, pending litigations, and statutory deadlines.File Management: Maintain a rigorous filing system (both physical and digital) for all legal documents, property papers, and original agreements.Compliance Calendar: Ensure all corporate and statutory filings are tracked and completed on time.
