About the Role
The Legal Counsel will provide support to Thiess West and MACA Global mining operations and construction projects. This role requires analysing complex legal and regulatory material, communicating implications clearly, and recommending appropriate courses of action.
Key Responsibilities
Review tender documents and perform contract risk assessments.
Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Develop and maintain commercial and respectful relationships with clients, regulators, joint venture partners, and other business partners.
Proactively manage claims, disputes, and litigation while considering best options and minimal external cost.
