Under this order, agency plans to reduce its FOIA request processing backlog by contracting for temporary a project assistant for a period for a period of performance of one (1) base year plus an additional four (4) option years
The project assistant who will work under the direction of the AO Records Liaison Officer and/or other authorized employees
In general, the work will involve document management responsibilities, including organizing records, entering information into the Paper Asset Tracking Tool application and reviewing/correcting supporting documentation
The project assistant shall undertake technical work as needed, including but not limited to, creating Excel spreadsheets and accessing databases and electronic systems of records
Organize and prepare Agency paper records for digitization in accordance with agency standards and guidance;
Create, review, submit and track entries in the PATT application;
Edit or correct PATT entries per feedback from the National Records Management Program, National Digitization Center and/or AO RLO;
Organize and package paper records per agency guidance for transfer to the National Digitization Center; and
Provide related support services for document and records management activities
All work shall be performed on-site at agency headquarters located in NW, Washington, D.C. Project assistant should live reasonable distance from HQ’s to be able to commute to the building for on-site services

The Office of the General Counsel processes all Freedom of Information Act requests for records within the Office of the Administrator.
