students passionate about gender equality and child protection.
Role Overview:
As a Legal Research & Social Media Intern, you will contribute to research, advocacy, and social outreach by
supporting legal research, preparing awareness content, managing social media posts, and developing
engagement strategies to reach wider audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Research & Advocacy
Conduct in-depth research on women's rights, child rights, POSH compliance, and juvenile laws.
Draft capsule notes, articles, policy briefs, and research reports.
Prepare case digests, judgment summaries, and law-based presentations.
Assist in framing responses for complaints and documentation in POSH-related cases.
Content Development & Presentations
Create PowerPoint presentations, one-pagers, and legal awareness content for community outreach
and internal training.
Participate in video calls, online webinars, and sessions with professors, women advocates, and
rights experts.
Social Media & Outreach
Design and schedule educational posts, awareness campaigns, legal tips, and event highlights
across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
Generate engaging copy, create hashtags, and design visuals using Canva/Figma.
Help plan and execute social media strategy with trending topics in women and child rights law.
Monitor engagement and suggest improvements to outreach campaigns.
Coordination & Networking
Arrange and attend meetings with WCRT Founder, guest speakers, and partner NGOs.
Coordinate with stakeholders and volunteers for events, campaigns, and follow-ups.
Who Can Apply:
Law students (3rd+ year in 5-year course or 2nd+ year in 3-year course) or fresh law graduates.
Individuals with a passion for human rights, law and justice, and social impact.
Strong skills in legal writing, research methodology, and basic social media marketing.
Familiarity with tools: Google Docs, MS Word, PowerPoint, Canva, Instagram Business Suite, or
Meta Creator Studio.
Creative mindset with the ability to convert law into simplified, audience-friendly content.
