Experience conducting legal research
Experience with Pacer and/or any litigation research products such as Law360, CourtAlert, CourtLink, Lexis, Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, etc
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret civil litigation filings
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to concisely provide information and responses to questions from managers and co-workers
Minimum of an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

The primary role of the Legal Research Specialist is to support the Director, Competitive Intelligence and Business Development team by utilizing court records to identify, monitor, manage, and distribute potential class action settlement sales and relationship building opportunities
Note: This position will be remote
Access PACER and other online sources to obtain a large volume of class action court case information
Review and update court case spreadsheets and Salesforce database
Review and process a large volume of email
Complete “one-off” requests, such as downloading and emailing requested court case filings and docket sheets

• Access PACER and other online sources to obtain a large volume of class action court case information.
• Review and update court case spreadsheets and Salesforce database.
• Review and process a large volume of email.
• Complete “one-off” requests, such as downloading and emailing requested court case filings and docket sheets.
