Position: Senior Legal Assistant, Insurance Defense

Law Firm: Top 20 Ranked Globally

Location: Miami

Onsite Schedule: Hybrid (3) Days a week onsite

Target Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 with OT and Bonus as additional compensation

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Creates, edits, formats, and proofreads documents.
• Prepares legal documents for e-Filing and filing via PACER.
• Preparing new client matter request packets and coordinating approval; coordinating conflict search processes; and preparing retainer letters.
• Reviews proformas and edits bills according to client billing arrangement.
• Enters, tracks, and coordinates new client/matter information.
• Maintains InterAction and/or Extranet data.
• Maintains electronic and paper files by Firm guidelines.
• Maintains and monitors attorney calendars.
• Coordinates and/or books travel arrangements.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ years of legal secretarial or assistant experience.
• Litigation OR Corporate
• Associate's degree preferred; Notary Public is a plus.
• Experience in a legal environment or professional services preferred.
• Ability to draft correspondence.
