About the role
We are currently seeking a full time Legal Secretary to join our Labour, Employment and Workplace Safety team based in our Brisbane office.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy practice and assist the team in all areas of secretarial support, including handling crucial team administration, responding to client queries and managing the monthly billing process.
What does the role involve?
Administrative support to the partners and fee earners in the practice group
Managing the monthly billing process
Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters
Preparing and editing various documentation and correspondence
Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software
Assisting with client queries
Diary management
Organising and booking travel
About you
To be successful in this role you will ideally have 3+ years' experience working in a medium to large sized law firm and be highly organised. You should be able to work to deadlines, use your initiative and demonstrate exemplary attention to detail.

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential in this role, as are excellent communication skills. You will be capable of using automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite and InterAction preferred).
