OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our bustling and collaborative Construction team based in our Brisbane office. Supporting highly skilled and experienced lawyers, no two days are ever the same. This is a great career opportunity to join a national law firm committed to personal growth.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

Extensive diary and inbox management.
Preparation of correspondence and documents, both internal and external.
Liaising with clients, which includes arranging meetings and teleconferences.
Preparing agendas, minutes, charts, reports, business plans and presentations for speaking engagements.
Opening and closing files.
Time entry and end of month billing.
Collating and binding documents.
Scanning, filing and general administration.
Organising travel arrangements and itineraries.
ABOUT YOU

You will have:

Demonstrated experience as a legal secretary, preferably within a Construction practice or similar.
Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A strong commitment to excellence in client service.
Outstanding computer literacy skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of apps.
You will also be:

A self-motivated individual capable of working independently and with limited supervision.
A team player who can take direction and foster professional relationships with both staff and clients.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
