Overview
Designation - Associate
The senior QA resource will design and develop test approach which should comply with the overall test strategy defined by the Test Architect. The QA Senior Analyst is deeply involved in the requirement gathering and development of a specific application and will ensure that the identified solution for testing which fits to the testing needs defined by the Test Management of the respective application owner.

Test Planning & Execution:
Would be expected to carry out below list of Tasks
. Develop holistic Test Approach for the application and all sub components
. Build functional/regression tests in Quality Center/ALM
. Carry out test execution and test reporting
. Work on test automation to build regression automation test suite from manual tests and update them for every release.
. Configure and maintain Test execution environments
. Ensure QA environments are stable with appropriate release artifacts and data
. Version control artifacts using Bitbucket, Git Hub, Perforce, SVN or any other version control tools
. Provide functional and tooling support to other QA and support teams working in the programme
. Schedule automation scripts based on Release cycles.
. Review daily smoke test reports, and Regression test reports. Analyse test failures and raise issues/defects to respective Dev teams.
. Update / Fix test scripts as per the functionality changes
. Assist QA team members with various challenges during day to day delivery.
. Achieve good test coverage
Quality
. Must have good knowledge of the software test best practises and industry standard tools
. Maintaining testing standards and ensure that they adhered to, as well as proactively trying to add these standards whenever possible.
. Taking pride in the quality of software delivered for each iteration and release.
Communication
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other development team members, project members, managers and end users.
• Must be able to participate in the discussions within the team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level
• Must be able to build relationships and work closely with our QA colleagues around the globe
• Must be able to participate in a culture of 'knowledge sharing' with the development team.
• Sharing best practices with other QA teams.
