Role: B-Tech Diesel Mechanic
Bauer’s Intelligent Transportation B-Tech Diesel Mechanic
Bauer’s IT is currently looking for an experienced B-Tech Diesel Mechanic for the Sunnyvale location.

Qualifications
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differentials and other assemblies.
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete knowledge of how braking systems (hydraulic and air) work on a variety of vehicles.
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete working knowledge of HVAC systems on a variety of vehicles. (certification)
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete working knowledge of suspension systems
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete working knowledge of electronics systems
• Diesel Mechanic must have complete working knowledge of air systems
• Diesel Mechanic must have full working knowledge of ADA vehicle operations
• Diesel Mechanic must have a B license or has committed to taking a class to be completed within a specified time…
• Diesel Mechanic must have 4 plus years of experience in the field
• Diesel Mechanic must have completion of advanced classes on all major vehicle models in the fleet, required to take 40 hours of online classes as directed per year.
Responsibilities:
• Diesel Mechanic must have uses gauges, special tools, and specialized electronic equipment to diagnose mechanical failure or problems. Ability to use any maintenance/repair manual, parts catalog and maintenance software.
• Diesel Mechanic must communicate with manufacturer representatives concerning repairs, parts and diagnostic equipment.
• Diesel Mechanic must serve as team lead worker when assigned.
• Diesel Mechanic job requires mechanic to crawl under buses, stretch and lift heavy objects.
• Diesel Mechanic must disassemble and perform partial or complete overhauls as necessary (Diesel, CNG and Gasoline combustion engines).
• Diesel Mechanic must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
