We started out as ship owners in 1873 and today we have interests in fuel distribution, shipping, motor cars, caravan manufacturing and property, we were ranked 30th in the prestigious list of private companies. Rix Petroleum are part of a wider group, The Rix Group.
Due to continued growth throughout the Rix group, we are currently recruiting for a Class 2 tanker driver at our Grangemouth depot.
Successful Candidate Requirements
· Full UK driving licence with Cat C (Class 2)
· Driver CPC and digital tacho card
· ADR license (advantageous)
Roles and responsibilities include:
· Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner
· Complying with all company policies
· Representing the company in a professional and polite manner at all times
· Ensure all vehicle checks are done, reporting any defects
· Knowledge of WTD and Digital Tacho Cards
· Completing all paperwork as required
· Multi-drop experience would be an advantage but full training will be given
Hourly rate £16.53 40 hour week permanent contract (Monday-Friday) however all candidates will be expected to be flexible as this role is of a seasonal nature and overtime is expected when required.
