Job Description
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid — in-office 3 days/week)
Experience: 0–3 Years (Training Provided)
License: Active Insurance License Required
Who We Are
Alliance Risk is a full-service independent insurance brokerage licensed in all 50 states, specializing in hard-to-place specialty lines — D&O, E&O, cyber, EPLI, builders risk, environmental, product liability, and more. We partner with A-rated carriers and work with high-growth companies across technology, healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, and beyond.
Founded by experienced operators with backgrounds in fintech and venture capital, Alliance Risk combines the sophistication of a specialty brokerage with the speed and energy of a modern startup. With offices in New York City, Miami, and our brand-new Chicago location, we're scaling quickly — and building a team that will define the next era of commercial insurance.
The Role
We're hiring a licensed Insurance Producer to join our brand-new Chicago office. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who already holds an insurance license and wants to build real experience quickly through direct, hands-on training.
You'll work side-by-side with a Senior Executive Producer, learning how to sell, structure, and manage commercial insurance business the right way. This isn't a classroom — you'll be in the work from day one, handling real submissions, real carrier relationships, and real client conversations.
Prior experience helps, but it's not required. What matters is that you're licensed, motivated, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, in-office environment. This role has a clear path to becoming a producing broker with your own book of business.
What You'll Do
• Train directly under a Senior Executive Producer on sales, placement, and client management
• Support new business submissions, renewals, and policy documentation across commercial lines
• Learn to assess risk and structure coverage for complex specialty products (D&O, E&O, cyber, and more)
• Communicate with carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to move deals forward
• Build your own production pipeline and take on increasing responsibility as you develop
• Use modern tools and processes to manage workflows efficiently
Who You Are
Required
• Active insurance license
• 0–3 years of experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn by doing
• Comfortable working full-time in a hybrid, in-office environment
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal
Nice to Have
• Exposure to commercial insurance products or agency operations
• Experience with carrier portals, AMS/CRM platforms, or rating tools
• Familiarity with specialty lines (D&O, E&O, cyber, EPLI)
Work Environment
• Hybrid role based in our new Chicago, IL office (in-office 3 days/week)
• Built around mentorship — you'll sit with and learn from senior producers daily
• Collaborative, team-oriented culture with direct access to leadership
Compensation
• Commission-based structure tied to new business production
• Clear upside as your skills and production grow
• Earnings scale directly with your performance — no artificial ceilings
Why Alliance Risk?
• Hands-on mentorship from day one — not a passive training program
• Work on complex, high-value specialty insurance (not cookie-cutter personal lines)
• Clear career path from entry-level to producing broker
• High-growth firm backed by experienced operators and venture capital
• Modern tools and processes — we're building insurance the way it should be done
• A team that values execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
Equal Opportunity Employer

We welcome all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, ****** orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by applicable law.
