Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their style, prescription, and lifestyle needs.
Perform fittings and adjustments on eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort.
Utilize optical equipment to dispense lenses and frames accurately.
Maintain knowledge of current trends in eyewear fashion and technology to provide informed recommendations.
Collaborate with optician to ensure timely production of eyewear.
Manage inventory levels of optical products and supplies, ensuring availability for customer needs.
Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
Process sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the purchasing experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the optical or healthcare industry.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care is advantageous.
Proficiency in computers
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory and customer records.
Experience in retail management is beneficial but not required.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
