Job Description
• Compounding and dispensing medications in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Monitoring customers' drug therapies, providing expert advice on interventions, and educating customers about potential side effects.
• Instructing customers on the proper usage and timing of their prescribed medications.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings to promote community health.
• Administering immunizations and performing essential medical services, such as blood pressure checks, temperature measurements, and blood sugar level assessments.
• Maintaining accurate customer records to ensure quality care.
• Ensuring a safe and sanitized working environment for all staff and customers.
• Completing operational tasks within the pharmacy, such as verifying order entries, managing controlled substance records, and removing expired or damaged medications from inventory.
• Assisting with various administrative duties as needed to support the pharmacy’s operations.
