We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Plumber to join our team! Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary maintenance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
- Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations while performing all plumbing work.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs of plumbing systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in plumbing installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- A valid plumber’s license or certification is mandatory.
