Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for plumbing tasks.
Perform heavy lifting as needed for the installation of plumbing fixtures and systems.
Assemble and weld pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex plumbing systems.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
