Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pain Management Team
Are you a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a collaborative environment? About the Role
As an LPN in our pain management clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. You will work closely with a diverse team to support targeted treatment plans and deliver outstanding patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Expertise:
Build and maintain a thorough understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy to support pain management procedures.
Assist with preparing treatment rooms, drawing trays, and ensuring infection prevention and control standards are met.
Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and obtain informed consent.
Collaborative Care:
Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to document treatment plans, maintain patient charts, and address patient needs effectively.
Ensure patient concerns or questions are promptly communicated to the attending radiologist or care provider.
Provide aftercare education and support to patients as part of their recovery process.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with medical protocols and regulations.
Assist in coordinating patient care activities and upholding a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Licensure: A valid LPN license (or eligibility to obtain) in Alberta is required.
