Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 7 pm - 7:30 AM, 3x12's
Employment Type: Contract
Qualifications:
Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing)
At least 6 months of RN experience
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Valid TB Test for the last year
N95 Fit test using one of the following masks: #46867 (small) and #46767 (regular)
Ability to pass a strict background check and fingerprint clearance
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper dosages for adolescent patients
Monitor and document vital signs while assessing patients for any signs of distress or illness
Provide wound care and first aid for injuries common in a correctional facility
Assist with chronic condition management, such as asthma, diabetes, and mental health concerns
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care until higher-level support arrives
Collaborate with behavioral health teams to address emotional and psychological needs
Ensure infection control and hygiene standards in a communal living environment
Maintain documentation and communicate health updates with RNs, facility staff, and guardians as needed
