Job Description
Our office provides individual and couples/family counseling to children, adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds. Our therapists are supported by a strong administrative team who manages scheduling appointments so that therapist focus on providing counseling services to our clients.
Therapists are tasked with completing intake assessments to determine the client's mental health needs, completing documentation such as progress notes and treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique situation, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our office or external to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
Requirements:
• Must hold an active license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and other states.
• Experience with CBT, EMDR, DBT, Gottman, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a client-centered approach.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations governing counseling services.
This is a contract (1099) opportunity with a minimum of 15 hours per week.
