Position: Liferay Developer
Experience: 4 to 7 years
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Liferay solutions.
• Design and develop Content Management and Document Management solutions using Liferay's capabilities and features.
• Implement Liferay themes, layouts, and portlets to ensure a consistent and user-friendly user interface.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform design concepts into functional Liferay components.
• Customize and extend Liferay's functionality to meet specific project requirements.
• Integrate Liferay solutions with external systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless interactions.
• Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality codebase.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Liferay, Java, and relevant technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Liferay development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and web technologies.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing Content Management and Document Management solutions using Liferay.
• In-depth understanding of Liferay's platform capabilities, including themes, layouts, portlets, and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with other web development frameworks and technologies is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Liferay development or related areas are advantageous.
