Job Description
Conducting resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each residents preference and needs
Planning and implementing innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents family and friends
Acting as team leader, providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you’ll need
A kind heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Strong coaching/training skills
Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents
Great IT skills – this will be tested
NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
