Job Profile:
The Lifestyle Product Merchandiser is responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies for lifestyle products. You will collaborate closely with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with customer preferences, market trends, and business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Product Selection & Planning:
Curate and organize the product assortment for lifestyle categories (e.g., home decor, fashion accessories, personal care) based on trends and business objectives.
Manage seasonal collections and product promotions, ensuring a balanced product mix.
Merchandising Strategy Development:
Develop merchandising strategies to showcase products in visually appealing ways that boost sales, both in-store and online.
Ensure product displays reflect brand aesthetics and meet customer expectations.
Vendor & Supplier Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely product availability and quality.
Negotiate pricing, discounts, and delivery terms to optimize profit margins.
Trend Analysis & Market Research:
Stay informed on the latest market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies.
Analyze sales data and customer feedback to adjust merchandising plans as needed.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels to ensure products are consistently available and replenished on time.
Work with inventory teams to ensure fast-moving items are well-stocked and slow-moving products are minimized.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track product performance and prepare regular reports on sales, customer feedback, and merchandising effectiveness.
Use insights to refine future merchandising strategies.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of retail merchandising and consumer behavior.
Excellent merchandising skills with an eye for design.
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and customer insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and merchandising software/tools.
