Job Description
Want Access is seeking a qualified and experienced technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a reliable, safety-focused professional who is confident working on specialised access equipment, forklifts, and telehandlers.
Key Responsibilities
Fault finding and repair of electrical systems
Electrical diagnostics and repairs on EWPs and access equipment
Preventative maintenance and compliance inspections
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
About You
Trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic or Auto Electrician
Previous experience working on EWPs or access equipment (highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Sound knowledge of Australian electrical and safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver’s licence
EWP, Working at Heights, or High Risk Work tickets (advantageous)
