Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
Skills
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
