We are looking for a disciplined dedicated Line Cook who understands prep, execution, and teamwork in a professional kitchen. Duties Line Cooking & Service Prepare and execute menu items according to MAiiZ recipes and standards Work stations including tortillas, plancha, proteins, and assembly Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service Follow portion control and plating standards Communicate clearly with the kitchen team during service Prep & Production Assist with daily prep including masa, salsas, proteins, and garnishes Support nixtamal-based production (tortillas, tostadas, masa handling) Label, date, rotate, and store all products correctly Minimize waste and report shortages Food Safety & Cleanliness Follow FoodSafe and health regulations at all times Maintain a clean and organized workstation Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing Handle food safely and correctly (hot, cold, allergen awareness) Team & Professionalism Show up on time and ready to work Follow direction from the Head Chef / Kitchen Lead Maintain a respectful, focused, and professional attitude Support teammates during busy periods This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to develop their skills while contributing to a dynamic team environment.
