Lure Fishbar Chicago is seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience in fine/casual restaurants
Ability to read and follow recipes, as well as directions and lists outlined by a chef
Understanding and adherence to proper DOH food safety policies
Punctuality
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment without losing composure
Capacity to stand while working for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Knowledge of cooking meat on a broiler and grill to exact temperature
High level of professionalism
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods
Job Requirements
Passion for building a solid team
High volume restaurant and catering experience
Organizational skills
Will to learn and adapt to new procedures
Strong Knife and Communication Skills
SERV Safe Certification plus
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
Produce accurate recipes and photo specifications for new dishes implemented on menus
Takе ownership of kitchen cleanliness at all times
Responsible for correct portion control and minimizing wastage, ensuring proper stock rotation within the kitchen
