We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team and help lead our kitchen to new heights.
Job Overview:
The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, and ensure that our food consistently meets high standards for quality and presentation. This position is ideal for an experienced culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating extraordinary food.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations: Assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring that food is prepared and served according to quality standards.
Supervision & Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient work environment. Train new team members and assist with their development.
Menu Execution: Support the Executive Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and creating new dishes. Ensure consistency and high-quality execution of all menu items.
Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering ingredients, and ensure proper storage and handling of food supplies.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that kitchen staff adheres to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Customer Experience: Respond to customer feedback and ensure that food quality, presentation, and service meet or exceed expectations.
Collaboration: Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and that all orders are completed on time.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen.
Ability to manage time and multitask effectively.
