Delta Hotels by Marriott has now opened in Delta, British Columbia, and we are looking for Laundry Attendants to join our team of hospitality professionals

• Job Requirements:
- Take the initiative to offer friendly assistance or answer questions from our guests-
- Thoroughly understand and implement brand service culture-
- Perform all shift checklist responsibilities-
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines when using cleaning materials-
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs, stand for long periods, kneel, bend and crawl, squat, and crouch.-
- Operates, maintains, and cleans laundry equipment according to company standards-
- Perform other duties as requiredQualifications & Attributes:
- Good attention to detail-
- Good communication skills-
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment-
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset-

• The Opportunity
• Papi’s Seafood and Oyster Bar located in the heart of the West End offers a menu of seafood-focused dishes, a spacious dining room, oyster bar and a sun soaked patio overlooking English Bay.
• What You’ll Do
- Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
- Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
- Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.
- Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
- Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
- Stock inventory and supplies.
- Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
• What You Have
- 2+ years of experience in the same or a similar role.
- Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
