Line Cooker
Position Summary:
This role needs to prepare and cook food in a manner that will ensure a quality appearance and taste and prepare meals as promptly as possible. To consistently maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen at all times. To perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards and camp site rules.
Responsibilities:
Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food products
Team member training and coaching to achieve operational standards
Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
Embrace and champion the use of real ingredients to produce real food
All other jobs assigned by head chef
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
Experience as a prep cook or line cook is preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Can prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Ability to work different shifts including evenings and weekends
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Night shift
Weekend availability
