The Log Cabin is currently seeking Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. Applicable candidates must have the willingness to continue learning, work with great ethics, and must be keen on working as a team in a great positive environment. This is a great opportunity to learn and executes house made soups, stocks, sauces, breads, dessert and to work with an amazing team that delivers our promise to exceed our guest's experience.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in daily running of kitchen, food preparation, and line service

Food preparation, line service

Perform open and closing duties

Maintain a clean, organized & safe work area including equipment

Preparation of soups, stocks, sauces & dressings

Bake breads & desserts

Vegetable preparation

Sauté, steam, pouch, roast & grill meats/fish products

Required skills

Have a passion and love for food

Creative

Positive attitude

Self motivated

Attention to detail

Ability to work well under pressure in high demand situations

Basic knowledge of safe and proper knife handling skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs,

Available days, evenings, weekends & holidays

Eager and willing to learn

Experience is an asset but not required
