Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing ingredients and components for daily menu items through efficient food prep and handling

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Support catering events by preparing meals and assisting with serving as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to menu planning ideas and suggest improvements based on kitchen operations and customer feedback
Qualifications
• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and food industry best practices
