Work on a major WA infrastructure project (Clean Energy Link North)
Join an established team delivering critical energy infrastructure
Ongoing opportunities across current and upcoming projects

Genus is currently delivering the Clean Energy Link North project, a major transmission initiative supporting the connection of renewable energy across Western Australia.
Due to ongoing project requirements, we are seeking experienced Linesmen to join the team and support the construction and maintenance of transmission infrastructure.

About the Role
Working as part of the project team, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair works across overhead and underground power networks.

Key Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of overhead and underground powerlines
Stringing, sagging, and joining of conductors and cables
Working on high voltage and low voltage network assets
Pole erection and general line work
Fault finding and repair works
Operating plant and equipment associated with network installation
Maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance
About You
Experience working as a Linesman on transmission or similar infrastructure projects
Relevant trade qualifications (ESI Distribution or Transmission Overhead)
Strong understanding of safety and site-based work environments
Ability to work as part of a team and meet project demands
Requirements
Certificate III ESI Distribution Overhead and/or EST Transmission Overhead
Valid Driver’s Licence (HR preferred or willingness to obtain)
White Card
CPR and First Aid certification
Working at Heights and EWP (highly regarded)
Desirable
Experience within utilities, construction, or resources sectors
Pole Top Rescue (PTR), Low Voltage Rescue (LVR), Controlled Descent Escape (EDD)
