Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
· Researching current trends and determining what consumers will like
· Collaborating with the product development team to develop ideas for new products based on research data
· Designing sketches for new products and collections
· Liaise closely with merchandisers for sampling
· Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design
· Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, determining prices and managing marketing
· Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and buyers
· The successful candidate will be trained to design lingerie
Requirements:
Superior knowledge of fashion design principles
· Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong time-management skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Possess at least a Diploma in Fashion Design or other related courses.
· Good proficiency in Design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Preferably bilingual with a good command of English and Chinese (to liaise with associates)
· Experienced, energetic and creative individual
· Well organized, meticulous, trustworthy, and able to perform effectively under pressure
· A team player with strong initiative and creativity; with good management, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to meet tight deadlines
· Able to start work immediately or within short notice period
· Previous experience in the design and advertising industry and possesses knowledge of print production and processes would be a bonus
· Training will be provided
