Job Description
Free Pads For India is an initiative founded by Help And Hygiene For All Foundation. The objective is two-fold: distribute free period products and educate in order to end the stigma around periods. FPI is a non hierarchical organization, we believe in imparting practical knowledge to the candidates. We are looking for a Content Writer Intern who would help us connect with our audience.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with an NGO to create original content that promotes ending period stigma and period poverty
• Serve as in-house writer/editor for communications and content, including website content, blogs, and other related materials that focus on eradicating period stigma
• Help define FPI‘s editorial communication style and tone. Ensure that it is consistent in terms of quality and brand tone of voice across all FPI touchpoints
• Work closely with FPI’s digital marketing team
• Write well-researched, high-quality blogs and bite-sized articles at your own pace
• Help measure the performance of content and reporting on impact/success
• Assist in developing channel/distribution strategy to ensure that content is reaching the widest, most relevant audience possible
Qualification:
• Available immediately to start with the internship position
• Ideally available for 4 months
• Prior industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent copywriting skills (English native)
• Familiarity with SEO/ SEM is an advantage
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, or with using data/analytics to measure the performance of the content
• Structure oriented – finds ways to expand effectiveness through better process
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, always variable environment
• Self-starter – motivated to find solutions, propose ideas, and always optimize
